not waiting until the new year to start

starting before the new year to hit the ground running

want to have a "daily online something" (aka "project 365") in the new year?

such seems like an old worn-out thing to do, but we should do it anyway:

  • it makes us do something rather than nothing

yet, the "dailies" stop by the first week, if not by the first day!

(in some settings, the "dailies" fail to start at all!)

starting before the new year

maybe, then, start a few days before the new year:

  • on any day before the new year, strike when iron's hot!
    • have a few days' worth of "dailies" at the ready
      • the will to start might fall to its lowest right after the new year
      • the first few days of the year will fly by like lightning
      • "tuckered out" on the year's first week?
        • all good, we have things to dish out!

make it fast and often when

as the year heaves past the first week, on days when the inklings flow out of the brain:

  • batch many days of online stuff all-at-once
    • backup will be at the ready should things run dry!

take a break after the "bursts"

making "dailies" does not mean having to do them each and every day!

  • let's give ourselves a break after each "bursty" day
  • yet, try to get back into the groove before you miss a day!
