• sometimes the tweaking happens ever so slowly
• one then sees the "letdown" too late in the game
• the "letdown" sticks around like a white elephant
• one then has to downplay the blockers and shove things forward

"the hopeful within"

looking closer into the "inner other"

• finding it at home instead of far away and abroad
• finding it in oneself before seeking someone else
• finding the free ones before spending anything

"the fully new"

• the new and the other as one and the same
• nothing comes fully from itself
• a "new" thing gets "old" so fast
• it fades back into the "same"
