October 1, 2022 : took a flight from Toronto (YYZ) to Chopin International Airport (WAW, Polish: Lotnisko Chopina Warszawa) in Warsaw, Poland for a short stopover on the way to Sofia, Bulgaria (SOF), for a trip around the Balkans:
- landed on the tarmac and walked on the hard Polish ground to the next flight
- no sightseeing done in Poland, however
- Warsaw would have to happen on another trip
- came back here on October 10 from Sofia, only to fly back home to Toronto
