the Norwegian Dawn ship docked in Riga, Latvia on June 20th:
went to see the:
- Melngalvju nams ("House of the Blackheads")
- Latvijas Okupācijas muzejs ("Museum of the Latvian Occupation")
- Doma laukums ("Cathedral square")
- Līvu laukums ("Livonian square")
mostly walked around to soak in the Latvian landscape, a mix of old and new:
also had lunch at a Hesburger (that Finnish hamburger hub):
...although one should try their rye bread!
