2 nights on my first time in Paris

August 25, 2014 : the Europe sightseeing trip took us to ride a TGV (train à grand vitesse), a high-speed train from Nice, France to Paris, France:
"the highlights"
saw the common sights:
- Eiffel Tower (La tour Eiffel)
- Arc de Triomphe
- Champs-Elysée
- Louvre
- had two hours to look inside the Louvre
- got to see the must-see Mona Lisa
in the evening:
- the lit-up Eiffel Tower
Paris syndrome?
- when someone has high hopes for Paris (or anywhere)
- they go there and then feel down after going there
Me however:
- had no hopes or any high thoughts about Paris
- went there and felt it was "très bien" with the Mona Lisa and sparkling Eiffel Tower
