August 18, 2014 : the Europe sightseeing trip quickly drove deeper into Italy:
- went to Pisa earlier in the day
- spent the evening in Florence (or, in Italian: Firenze)
- had only a little time to see a town over-whelmed by one big church (Santa Maria del Fiore)
- walking in the old town, saw the Florentine Arnolfo Tower
- saw Ponte Vecchio (a "bridge with shops") crossing over the Arno
