August 17, 2014 : took a flight from Toronto (YYZ) to Rome, Italy (FCO):
"background"
the overnight flight was rough without much sleep:
- would have slept after landing in Rome if going without a sightseeing group
"sightseeing"
- the "adrenaline" and the newness of the sights took care of the flight lag:
- Monument to Victor Emmanuel II
- St. Peter’s Basilica (inside and out)
- Colosseum
- Circus Maximus
- River Tiber
- also got to set foot in Vatican City!
