August 28, 2014 : at Brussels, Belgium, boarded a Eurostar, which went through France and under the English Channel, to get to London, England:

London would end the 2014 Europe sightseeing trip:
- the trip leader let us go off on own ways but took others on day trips
- chose to see many spots in London on my own, having come here before
"highlights"
- The Argyll Arms : a pub on Oxford and Regent Streets
- my father once worked here in the 1970s
- British Museum
- saw an Easter Island moai
- in 1868, someone had "borrowed it forever" from Rapa Nui
- saw an Easter Island moai
- Parliament and Great George
- stood at these streets and felt a flashback to 2002, when the Westminster Abbey came into my sight across the street
