November 16, 2016 : the Norwegian Breakaway ship brought me to Nassau, the capital city of The Bahamas:
"highlights"
hired an day trip to see the following in Nassau:
- Fort Fincastle
- Queen's Staircase
- a cruise-within-a-cruise that
- approached some islands near Nassau, such as Paradise and Athol
- free time to drink some Kalik beer and rest
"look back"
took a liking to The Bahamas:
- a warmer likeness of Canada with Queen Elizabeth II on the Bahamian dollar
- rather clean and cared-for streets
- did not run into any unfriendly folk
